Sailfish are getting back !!!

Today John, Larry, Jim and Steve (alltackle) from Maryland went out 35 miles on the Furioso with Captain Fito and super mate Jeff Kirby they had 09 sailfish release for 15 raised and 1 Dorado of 17 pounds.
The morning was slow we went 1 for 5 with Larry catching his first sailfish , late morning we moved 3 miles and the fishing improved dramatically.

Bittersweet Leftovers

We fished yesterday with Kristin and her friends on the Maximo, while the fishing has definitely taken a beating thanks to the seiner activity in the last week we did manage a fairly decent day with two dorado, a sailfish, and some good action on tunas in the afternoon on the skip-kite up to 90 pounds.
